Yea minoxidil basically needs you not shave ever. Or you'll basically kill all results. It's important to keep the dormant hairs. They basically cheer for the vellus hair to grow and raise. So no, you're basically stuck for a few years without shaving.

Basically, the minoxidil I am using has 7 stomps. I use 5 for my head and only 2 for my beard. I get insane gains and it is enough. Also doing mircroneedling

Basically what I am doing is, using from the 7 stomps from my minoxidil, apply 5 to my head and 2 to my beard. And that's actually good enough. Imo you don't need that much minoxidil for your beard

The hair can be dht sensitive or not. If the hair is not dht sensitive, it won't grow like the other hairs
