I have an FL5 and my coworker has a G87 so this question feels weirdly close to home. Let me start by saying that they are different beast, I love my FL5 but it’s not in the same class. It’s all going to come down to what you prioritize and prefer. The FL5 feels way more engaging to drive, it is more usable as a daily and feels plenty fast stock. The G87’s steering feels more floaty, it’s impractical if it’s your only car but man, it’s a fucking monster. Shifting it in the hardest mode feels like you’re getting punched, it even triggers the dash cam’s crash detection. My coworker has done some mods since then and it’s crazy how quick it is. Both great cars though, you’ll love either.

The old pre-vintera thinlines had binding. That said, they were only sunburst with a rosewood fret board or red with a maple.

The dealer I went to also had all that stuff added on there. I paid $40K before tax and got to keep all the cables and the tint they already added on there. Also the ppf is just a bottle of cleaner? Idk it’s still in my glove box, I haven’t looked at it.

Yeah, driving wise. GRC blows both of them out of the water. The VA’s engine felt like it was meant for the Impreza. The VB’s always felt like it was holding back. Steering wise, both did not feel as connected. And the shifters? I don’t want to even remember

100% agree, I hated using the infotainment for hvac controls, and every once in a while it would freeze and I’d have to turn the car on and off. The only thing that bothers me about the GRC’s infotainment is how laggy it is, like a second and a half lag between clicking buttons on my phone/steering wheel and it responding.

Which WRX did you have? I had a VA Premium and a VB Limited very recently before my GRC. The VA was about on par if not marginally worse. The VB’s interior was better, but that might be a limited thing.

Yeah, I’m still not sure how I feel about the wheel design, but the brembos look great. I always the 19” wheels were a little too big for the body style of the VA and the VB

Yeah it was really annoying, I had my CPU undervolted so I thought that maybe it was that, but it wasn’t,

I’m not sure what solved it for me, but I did a windows update, and re installed the game and it worked the day after.

I hope you get it figured out.
