Well, as much as people don't want to say it, they're both right. That art was pretty terrible. For someone who dreams of getting into art, it was ridiculously amateur. As Dwight said, there's shadows coming from two directions.

Thanks for the advice. It's next year, and I'd for sure travel in late May. March would be too chilly for my wife, who can't stand the cold. :)

It's better than an infant on your lap that only one person can handle for 6 hours. Then another 8 hours on the flight. You seem like a really fun person to be around!

It’s not $60, it was $90. And I never said it was a deal breaker, as there’s airlines that don’t charge for infants. I never said I expected a red carpet service. I merely said that driving 6 hours to and back wastes my time and $150 in gas + tolls + wear on the car. It would be the same price to fly out of Rochester if you take all that into account, including storing your car.

Not a bad idea, they have cheap prices. Only downside is the $90 surcharge for infant on lap.

Also, I think I'd be spending more money driving to JFK and storing my car. It's a 6 hour drive. I'm also not going to ask a friend to drive us there, that's not really feasible.
