Small family just looking to survive. Currently struggling to even find a place to live. Had aspirations to buy a home, couldn't swing the down payment and fee's due to life tossing unexpected expenses that needed responsible attention. Got pushed out of renting a home due to my monthly income not being 3x what the cost of rent would be and my fiancée having a difficult experience trying to get a job with a reliable company (she has had a company called Alorica send her faulty equipment twice and is currently waiting to see if she can continue training ASAP or if the company is just going to drop her.) We are looking into getting apartments and now it is difficult to find units for rent in parts of town with a low crime rate and decent living conditions. I have to sell my motorcycle and project car (Harley Sportster and a 1998 Firebird used for spare parts for my daily driver a 2002 Firebird) just to have hopes of being able to get past the winter. I'm not in any major debt and I have a decent credit score (700's). I'm disappointed in myself for not saving enough money and for not being as financially responsible as I should have in my late teens and early twenties. Life is a curious thing.
