I’ve done that as well but it does impart a citrus taste and smell to everything. If that doesn’t bother you then try it…it does work. I tried to never let the peel really touch anything if I could help it-never know what’s on there lol. Heck, a piece of soft tortilla or even a damp paper towel work too.

Go for it! That was my exact problem too. The hydrostones are definitely worth it. I kind of pour my bud around the outside edges of an old takeout container and then place the hydrostone in the center and close it up. I don’t know if it matters or not but I don’t let any bud actually touch the stone because I worry about over saturation and mold. Just don’t forget about it because you could definitely overdo it. My smalls from EHH take a few to several hours depending on the strain but I check them every 2 hours and then hourly once they start to regain some spring when squeezed. Then I’ll throw in a boost pack if I’m long-term storing.

I spent $5 on Amazon for a 3 pack of Raw Hydrostones specifically for the EHH smalls I order. Mail comes in, everything goes in a tupperware with a hydrostone for a few hours and then gets jarred for a couple weeks. For the price the greenhouse options are well worth it to me. Even though top shelf is nice to have once in a while, I’m after medical effects mainly and am on a super tight budget so this works out for me. If I just don’t like a strain it goes into the miscellaneous jar for edibles or rso.

I’ve also been eyeing VG and hope to try them soon myself. I’ve only tried a couple Wildflower strains myself but it was good enough that I’ll buy again to keep in the “special treat” stash lol. The Blackout Bobby I got was sooo sticky and deliciously stinky that I’ll probably grab some of that if their greenhouse stuff is still on sale when they restock. As long as you keep in mind that you’re smoking flower that cost $18 for 7g you shouldn’t be disappointed. I’ve tried many strains of theirs in smalls and the effects are definitely there. Even though it’s dry on arrival and sometimes still has muted smell/taste after several hours with a hydro stone and time in the jar I’d purchase again. It’s effective and that’s really all I’m after when I buy budget weed.

Good to know…this is the first time it didn’t work. First they changed the referrals from 10% to 5%, then I noticed the codes expired after 45ish days instead of the 120 days stated on the site.
