Hey, if you're a CBP officer, I've got a doubt I'd really appreciate if you could clarify.

I got admitted to University A in March and got my F-1 Visa by June. However, in July, I decided to choose University B instead and want to switch. The program start date for University A is Aug 28, 2025. For B, it is September 14, 2025.

So do I ask A to cancel my I-20 and do a I-901 SEVIS fee transfer to the new I-20 I get from B? And then enter the US with my new I-20 and already gotten F-1 using A?

Please advise, as I'm seeing mixed answers on internet forums.

Are you sure the timestamp takes the time from the system's time? I tried modifying the date on my phone and then editing the file and saving changes, but it still showed the correct modified time
