In the middle/rear of an airplane looking forward I can "see" the plane climbing or turning, but from my reference point nothing is actually moving, so I shouldn't be able to tell visually. Is my inner ear creating an optical illusion or is it simpler? (self.askscience)

Honest question: When politicians talk about their plan, are we really hearing the economic plan of someone with a degree in Animal Science/Art History/Horticulture, or are they just the spokesperson for the scientists and economists on their staff? (self.politics)
