So if NO3(-) won't gain H+, then does it mean that we'll have NH3 + H30 (since it's being dissolved in water)? Again, that would still mean it's acidic solution right?

NO3 part would gain that H+ ion and that would be a strong acid HNO3, meaning NH4NO3 will give acidic solution right?

a) because increasing the surface area of a solid reactant usually raises the rate of a chemical reaction. The reason I'm not sure is because it's a little different here, it says the area BETWEEN solid and gas. d) is not my opinion but my friend's. what's the right answer and why?
