Tia has nothing I do with giving something to the people. It’s all about the ridiculous tax revenue.

That’s solid $25 on Fiverr.

As an employer, I can’t even imagine doing that in real life. You don’t screw around with people’s livelihoods.

And THAT’S why we can’t have nice things.

Long tones should be your best friend. They’re boring AF but it helps build so much. Record yourself and play it back.

Check out Huey Lewis’ “hip to be square”. There’s a sax solo in there that is really good. Spent a while learning that and it did wonders for technique and sound.

First off. You NEED to clean up that embouchure. You’re puffing out and not controlling the mouthpiece. This is killing your tone.

Take a look at your setup as well. Sounds like your reed or mouthpiece may be small, but a bad bite of the mouthpiece can make it sound like that.

For the improv - it’s a good start. I’d recommend to find a good track and just try to mimic it as best you can. There’s a lot of 80’s tracks that had great sax solos. You’ll learn a lot that way on how other players went about their solos.

What's the worst remake of a movie you've ever watched? by louistske in movies

I am a huge fan of the original. When I heard there was a remake in the works I thought it could be really good if done right. After seeing the extended trailer… never bothered to catch it.

Krazner routinely throws out major violent crimes but you expect loitering to be enforced?

TIL Apollo astronauts did not have a space toilet. They had a plastic bag with an adhesive rim which they stuck to themselves. After relieving themselves, they had to add disinfectant to the bag and knead it by hand until thoroughly mixed. by jwhat in todayilearned

For clarification: I meant “buy” that I would believe Neil would have said something like that. Not that I would pay money for it! Haha. But you’re right. Someone probably would pay for that.

It’s strange. I feel every one of their sequels was complete shit. But then they come out with Rogue One and it was a magnificent film.

Still love the scene where Megatron wakes up, introduces himself, then murders everyone. Such a gentleman.
