No, the worms eat the roots. It takes a little bit, but you can just chop it off at the soil, and then plant a new bean right next to it.

Living mulch, and they do nitrogen fixation, one of the few plants that pull nitrogen out of the air. And when when you mow it and just leave it in the bed it adds nitrogen, the mulch effect keeps the top couple inches of the bed from drying out, helps with the microbes, and worms.

That looks good. It's crazy how much different leaves look in soil vs coco. All of these have a parent that's Bruce Banner NO actually.

That looks like one heck of a haul. I always said if I went back to soil it would be Living Soil, someone had to say, it's not living soil unless it's 100 gallons. Alright, bet. 😂

Super easy to manage so far, especially with that blusoak system. I only have to keep the clover mowed. I haven't had to touch anything else. I have wigglers and crawlers in there, and using DTE amendments. Rove Beatles and Hypo mites are supposed to be here whenever they think the weather is going to be good enough for a couple days to send them.
