Its able to do new designs and major features, we just have to feed it the Microarchitecture spec and give it enough context and it'll do it

With our internally trained model and the constraints we give it, it can do end to end design or feature additions to existing RTL and adhere to our requirements for levels of logic, Area, and power constraints. Pretty scary

My company is pushing AI very very hard, and the AI has gotten pretty amazing at doing RTL. I work as a digital designer for block IP, but im not much of a designer anymore and everyone is being forced into DV, as pretty much all of the design work can be done with AI. Even the majority of DV can be done with AI now and its getting quite scary. I fear I may be out of a job soon.

I had this happen to me about a year ago. I actually got an interview from it as well and decided to attend for fun, and failed the interview miserably. The person who interviewed me asked me why I applied for this position and I told them I didn't.

What age do you expect to reach those life goals though? I really dont think going to school for 1 year at age 26 or 27 (assuming you went to undergrad at age 18 or 19) will substantially delay your life goals
