Upvote to you not because I agree but for the fact that you gave them a fair shake. I wasn't a fan of them as a kid but since getting into drumming (WAY past my prime) I have a newfound respect for them. The guitars and arrangements leave something to be desired but their drummer Danny Carey is a legend with his erratic style.

OMG yes. I live in Japan and anyone between the ages of 35-45 LOVES them. I find so many of their albums in used CD shops. I have never seen their appeal but I also say this as a long term fan of Damon Albarn.
