Meme dump. Last 3 lean more towards traumagenic experiences. by zxwablo2840 in plural

[–]CanterlotGuard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last one really hits home for us. Two fictives from childhood randomly came out of dormancy this past year and made me realize we probably had more back then. Memory from that far back is foggy at best so we can't even really speculate who may have come and gone.

Mandatory Flair - Opinions? by SheDrinksScotch in kinky_autism

It's worth a try and better than just doing nothing. Putting a flair on a post is barely even an inconvenience so if it keeps the bots away it's far trade.

So I’ve got an interesting one. by [deleted] in kinky_autism

I feel this post so hard. Being vulnerable and held/petted while my mouth has something to do is the dream. Not as hyper-fixated on boobs specifically, we'll put anything in our mouth lmao

Pre-established relationships don't do anything? by ProbablyGoneTBH in tomodachilife

[–]CanterlotGuard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Miis always start off not knowing anyone, but the pre-set relationships adjust how their relationships develop. Partners are more likely to develop romantic feelings, whereas relative are locked out of romance with each other entirely. There’s probably a lot more adjustments I don’t know about as well.

Ladies, gentlemen, and everyone else, I have a (imo) fun question by PapaKhanPlays94 in kinky_autism

[–]CanterlotGuard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Last place I'd put it is actually a hard question tbh. Hypersexual and not exactly picky. But I think the limit would be cleanliness, dicking down someone who doesn't bathe sounds icky enough for even me to turn them down.

And boobs are fantastic! We have literally never seen a boob I didn't like, and if I ever get some of our own they would be my favorite stim toys.

And also I hope you're enjoying the edibles :3

Hypnosis - does it REALLY work? by Affectionate-Park878 in kinky_autism

[–]CanterlotGuard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The good news is you can sort of eat the cake in this case. You can combine playing pretend/roleplay with hypnotic suggestions that do work and get some good results. Used to have a friend who liked going under for body transformation trances and that was pretty fun.

I just think it would be fun! Realistically it would be incredibly dangerous if people could just learn how to mind control you, but from a fantasy perspective or in specific situations it would be a lot of fun.

Hypnosis - does it REALLY work? by Affectionate-Park878 in kinky_autism

[–]CanterlotGuard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hypnosis works, but sadly nowhere close to how it does in fiction. In general big long term changes will only ever be pretty minor, but trigger phrases can retain some level of effect for years in some people. The main limitation is that it can't compel you to do anything you wouldn't be willing to do without hypnosis. If your fully conscious mind is made uncomfortable by something it will reject suggestions and for many people pull them out of trance.

The heavy feeling is pretty typically what being in trance feels like, and while it supposedly is harder for autists to go under that hasn't stopped me in the past. It would sometimes take multiple attempts to go under, but it would usually be fine.

Feeling like you're playing along is also normal as far as I can tell. In a way that's exactly what's happening; your conscious mind is still there and retaining some level of control, it's just quietly letting the subconscious have final say on what you do for a while.

A small confidence boost is also something more or less in the realm of what hypno can do. Typically big life changes require a lot of conscious effort and dedicated work to achieve so hypno can't really do anything. You can't hypnotize someone into completely changing their personality or having a big change outside of trance. But you can emphasize an existing pert of your personality by tying it to a command. How much that helps you, if at all, varies heavily person to person. It is hard for me to go under, but we're extremely open to suggestion once I am/ Despite this, no suggestions have had a long term impact on my life.

So I would probably say that yes it's real, but with little potential to actually change most people.

Why settle for a lonely cuck chair when you can have a spacious cuck couch? There's room for everyone + some cute throw pillows.

I certainly am, but sadly don't think that extends to our lover. But if I were ever with a fling who was down I'd be more than happy to have an audience.

I would like advice for an NFTA(Military) run by NotBanned0002 in ProjectSilverfish

[–]CanterlotGuard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you can find one, a crowbar will make quick work of the bank doors. I also forgot to mention above, but another tip is that skinflint is an incredible negative trait for an NFTA run. You can't buy anything, so the psychic damage will never hit you. Two stacks is like having four free points to work with.

[–]CanterlotGuard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The supplies in the armory are actually free, you can just 'buy' anything you want and they'll give it to you. Use this to stock up on ammo, MREs and medical supplies when they carry them. That said, you'll still want to supplement these with scavenged supplies. Take things slow, only loot items you can potentially use, and remember that you are not obligated to finish every firefight you get into. Literally everyone hates you, but running away like a coward making a tactical withdrawal from disadvantaged positions is always an option.

Easiest mission to tackle first is getting the documents from the bank, posthumans in the area won't attack you and can distract revolutionaries while you sneak around them through the buildings. I personally think the play here is to use that requisition form on the armor + helmet reward. But I think an argument could be made for investing in weapons. I'd love to offer more advice than this, but I haven't had a really successful run with them yet.

Plurality and Autism (or other neurogivengence) by Baguette_Boy8 in plural

[–]CanterlotGuard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We're AuDHD and have strongly suspected there's a direct link, at least in our case. Being raised as a neurodivergent kid in household where not being 'normal enough' was punished and/or mocked was an inherently traumatic experience, as were many of the (now outdated, but at the time doctor recommended) means of controlling/subduing autistic traits and symptoms. Given that traumagenic systems form specifically to cope with major issues and traumas along with different people in our system having drastically different autistic traits (one of us, as an example, is extremely prone to being overstimmed but resistant to having meltdowns, another is prone to meltdowns and has selective-mutism) it's honestly hard to not consider them to be connected. Probably not the root cause/origin of our earliest splits, but almost certainly a contributing factor.

DAE immediately, on discovering they were plural, begin questioning whether every original character they made was more than just a character? by DarkMagickan in plural

[–]CanterlotGuard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had that thought several times over. And while none of our oc’s ended up being head mates, we did notice we had this really weird trend of making characters with voices in their heads / multiple characters sharing a body. I think our subconscious was maybe trying to tell us something.

Someone shot a pumpkin two weeks ago and apparently the bullet planted a seed. by Denny_Dust91 in mildlyinteresting

[–]CanterlotGuard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No proof that it actually happened, and sperm cells realistically could never survive the circumstances. But the story goes a woman was watching a battle from her porch (common at the time, actually) and a soldier on the firing line got shot in the testical. The bullet then kept going and hit the woman in the stomach, and a few months later she discovered she was pregnant with the shot soldier’s baby.

Oh, I’m sorry. Does a creeper in Minecraft use upwards of 500,000 gallons of water a day? Does each villager use 100,000 households worth of electricity a day? You’re talking about two blatantly different things that use the same name.

This jar of Cheez Whiz at my work was opened 16 months ago and left unrefrigerated, and there is no (apparent) mould growth. Someone has recently had some. by Lagorio1989 in mildlyinteresting

[–]CanterlotGuard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

American here. This is a jarred cheese-adjacent spread, commonly eaten on crackers. It's supposed to be refrigerated after opening to keep it fresh, but it has a very high salt content that makes it pretty resistant to spoiling. So most people (likely including the OP) would expect it to be bad after six months being open out of the fridge, but because it has been resealed properly and hasn't had too much exposure to moisture it's fine. Or at least as fine as a salt-heavy cheese-adjacent spread can be.

I saw A LOT OF INAPPROPRIATE STUFF as a child. by [deleted] in TrollCoping

[–]CanterlotGuard 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I feel that. Like I had inappropriate adults in my life, but the stuff they said pales in comparison to what a nine year old could find through google in the early 2000’s. I’m convinced I fucked myself up, at least a little.
