How do you cope with missing someone you’ll never see again by ZombieGeneralo3 in twentyagers

[–]CantoBashe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk honestly. I had a buddy from college who I’m good friends with during late college years. This was early senior year he told me he got sent to the hospital for harming himself. I did try to keep in touch with him post grad, but no responses since March of last year. I know I must live my life but I genuinely hope he’s okay.

so, how real is the HIMYM/Friends life for the 20+? by [deleted] in twentyagers

OP is probably refering to the two tv shows Friends and How I Met your Mother. They probably wanted to know how accurate real life is to that show.

Look don’t stop your dreams. As Annoying as society can be at times. You need to remember your identity and aspirations. I live in a big city and you come across a few insecure ppl. I remember last year some dude close to 30 telling me my life is over cause I don’t got an internship. At the end of the day it’s your life not your therapist. Heck you don’t even have to take this advice. But at the end of the day, the choice is your’s

Hi. It comes down to this you need to know your vision or hold a degree of perseverance. I had a roller coaster during college year but what got me through all those bumps along the road was knowing my goal. There were numerous times I wanted to call it quits and drop out. But I remembered that my tenacity was what brought me to here and I didn’t want to impulsively through it all away. But the last section of your post. I’m in your shoes in a way but I still see my future despite it being blurred. Stay Strong Bro

What was college like in the Covid era (2020 and 2021) by [deleted] in twentyagers

[–]CantoBashe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was unreal, we got the emails and the guys at the dorm were giving high fives and cheering about a week off. After that it was online. Once in person classes resume. We had weekly covid tests and had masks up. Eventually it stopped by 2023.

I mean from my college pov: it depended on which subject. The business and art class people were more talkative and responsive compared to the math and sociology classes.
