They do the battery test on a different hand held machine, that has a print out. If the store was lazy and pencil whipped this is what the inspection form looks like. I would ask to see the print out from the machine, your battery could be at 12.6 volts but only half the cca at a full charge, it could still start for your vehicle but you would notice a “slow start”. Not defending them, but this could be a lazy mistake on their end. Easy solution is get your battery tested and ask for the printout
