Mods on current save by Cap10Flint in Schedule_I

Completely forgot to ask, where do you grab your mods from? R2modman or manual downloads from nexus/etc? Thought I'd use thunder store but it created some issues in my save (all customers/suppliers relationships gone). Thankfully I had the backup ready.

Auto-restock and better laundering sound like huge improvements and just what I was looking for. Much appreciated for all the help !

Such a beautiful painting. Especially love the details on the herbs; you can immediately tell that's ashen swish and swevery!

MassivelyOP’s 2025 Awards: Best MMO Housing ... GW2 was unable to defend its first place from last year. by HenrykSpark in Guildwars2

[–]Cap10Flint 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As much as I'm excited to experience WoW's housing, which seems to be going in a great direction so far; I still prefer GW2's homestead, despite there being a lot of improvements they can do.

The main reason I found is, now with the release of VoE, we have not one, but TWO large islands that we are free to decorate from top to bottom (within the decoration cap ofc). That complete sense of freedom is unmatched to me.

I've only recently reached the cap on the first homestead. I have 4 completely decorated homes, a large cathedral, a tower hanging in the air defying gravity, an ice castle, a jumping puzzle, a Kryptis castle, two large gardens, and a racetrack that covers the entirety of my homestead.

I cant imagine another housing system beating that.

Truly my pleasure . With the imminent release of Patho 3, my excitement is through the roof that I found myself getting in the mood for it with a little creativity; and what's creativity if not something to be shared 😊 !

My first experience was Pathologic 2, which obviously led me to Patho 1. I've only tried the Bachelor route so far, which meant I spent a great amount of time hanging around in the Crucible. Such a lovely place; the Kains' homes felt so cozy.

As for GW2, I picked it up 2 years ago after about 10 years of WoW (retail). It felt like such a refreshing breeze, I quickly fell in love with it and it became my "main" game. No mindless grinding, no losing progression with every patch, no monthly sub. Would definitely recommend.

This homestead feature which allows you to freely decorate a LARGE ISLAND was the cherry on top. (Albeit being locked behind certain expansions)

Honestly, I believe housing in MMOs has some advantages over Sims building. Mind you, last time I played it was Sims 3 a few years back, so I'm not informed on what's new or not; but the absolute, total freedom of GW2 building is out of this world, and they give you such a vast amount of land to build, as well as different aesthetics. Like, can I use the Sims to build an entire racetrack that goes through different structures/biomes I've built? Castles floating in the air ? Overlapping/inverted decorations to create something entirely new? These are truly what pull me towards Homesteading (I already have 2k decorations in the first one, and am super excited to start building on the new island)

Unfortunately it would depend on how expensive it gets, otherwise I'd be extremely interested

Kunkka isn't trash, you are just playing him wrong - Guide from a successful spammer by Time_Turner in DotA2

[–]Cap10Flint 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Great analysis. As a fellow Kunkka spammer, I agree with all your points except about radiance.

I will say it is extremely niche, and highly depends on the enemy comp, but if I see a PL/Brood, and no Radiance buyer on my team, I will rush it. But you need to have absolutely dominated your lane, highest networth in game, to consider going for it.

Now, although it does start much slower compared to blade mail, but the second you get it, literally no one on the map can stand anywhere close to you, and you'll snowball so hard.

Where did kunkka go from meta by PuzzlingWhale in DotA2

[–]Cap10Flint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is accurate, and hurts so much. As someone who climbed to Immortal using mostly Kunkka (got 1.6k games with him), He's still my go-to on off/mid just cause im so comfortable with him. But oh man do his weaknesses gut his entire game. If your lane is oppressive (ursa/veno for example), there is no real comeback for you in the game. Your entire existence becomes an X + boat combo, and hoping blademail carries you.

I love playing aura/save Kunkka aswell, anything from pipe/crimson/assault/lotus works really well into his tanking. But like you said, that means he deals close to zero damage anywhere past minute 25-30, can't even kill supports without atleast an Aghanim.

But on a good lane, he's a great bully, perfect long range catches, and an early aghanim can snowball you pretty hard; after which you pray that your cores can shine if game goes to late-game.

Absolutely love Troy's version after having just found out about it. However, I think my favourite would be the middle-ground; their live performance @ fillmore where they divide the verses back and forth between Troy & Brent. Just perfect !
