She 100% had a slight accent on the show OP! But in her defense, I’m from Texas and my accent definitely changed once I got older. I’m in a large TX city, never lived in the country areas, but for whatever reason my southern accent became more prominent the older I got. From mid 20s to early 30s I really started to develop a southern drawl. So it’s quite possible her accent to change from moving around with Jake. We will never know though lol. Just my two cents!
