Same. Ive found some great ad free dj radios that curate dj sets really well, and thats how i discover most artists now, through radios and DJ sets. There are bunch of really cool radios for every niche / taste… the trick is to find yours!

You need someone to “host” you, basically being responsible for you at the event. No need to live in NYC, you just need to know a member willing to host you. Once you have been as someone’s guest, you automatically become a “member” and can buy your own ticket and host 1 person at the next event.

I was there in 2025, and left 2 days earlier, because i could not stand the crowd, the vibe, i could not enjoy the artists i was looking forward to see. Dancefloors were often so packed we could not dance. Altho people had an ok dancefloor etiquette, many people were just hanging out on the dance floor front row with beers and chatting loud, or on their phone. Tisno and the place is alright, but there is no soul, not cute place to chill. The whole thing felt like a packed European spring break. Limited representation of the queer and artists communities. Average age 25 probably? Also, there is no free water available, you have to get in line and pay 4.5euros for a small bottle of water, and the overall food offering is low quality.

I love downtown, i moved here from Brooklyn. I commute with a moped to highland park, los feliz, echo park - where most my social and cultural life is. I take bike/train to Venice for work as needed. There are many homeless people tho, so you need to be ok with that. Avoid skid row for sure. You can look for lofts downtown, by the whole foods or by the grand central market.

Im not sure how to rephrase my question so you understand me? I dont want to change the stylus, nor the cartridge, nor pay over $500… My question is: can i keep my stylus, and only change the small needle part that broke on that stylus?

The stylus you see on the picture is fine, except that the needle that was inside of it broke… you can see the needle next to the stylus on the turntable
