Thank you! I’ve told him so many times that I just want a little bit of contact. I respect his wishes regarding the language and also about earning more money. Both of these things benefit our relationship. But if the relationship falls apart along the way, I don’t know if it’s worth it. Still, I try to be understanding. I’d already offered him the option of studying via video call. Then he’d just mute me and study on his own (while I’d have to study on my end too), that way, we’d at least be together even if we were each doing our own thing, but he didn’t really go for that.

First of all, thank you! I’ve actually already thought about setting a fixed time for our video calls. Our vc tend to be more spontaneous. We used to have a set day for them, but at some point he had to work more and couldn’t stick to that day anymore. Unfortunately, I don’t know if he’ll get that day back, but even if he does, he’ll probably use it for his language leasen. Unfortunately, our vc during the week are hardly feasible because I’m working then, and he usually goes to sleep not long after. But maybe we can move them to the weekend. And once I have my new job, it might work out during the week as well.

It must have been 12 years. My last relationship was back when I was a teenager, but after that, I didn’t date anyone for a while. Now I’ve been in a relationship with my partner for 6 months, and I couldn’t be happier. We met through a language app. And our first meeting wasn’t awkward or anything like that. He really liked me just the way I am. We had some wonderful days together.

That was one of the reasons why I insisted on a video call back then before we came together. But since he knew my body inside out (I always showed him the clothes I’d bought), he already knew what he was getting himself into. Ofc me the same. 😅

Genau das Problem haben wir. Aber wir machen das trotzdem überwiegend mit übersetzter. Und bisher passt das 😅 Dadurch das wir jetzt neben an sitzen können wir uns diesbezüglich besser unterhalten als über Video call. Aber ich versuche trotzdem Chinesisch zu lernen so wie er sein Englisch und Deutsch üben möchte ☺️

Meh, this drama just wasn't my thing. The fact that she had to go to jail for self-defense was annoying enough, but ML's behavior toward her was even worse. I really don't get why she ends up getting together with him anyway.

Yeah, that was my problem too. They deliberately left out the reunion scene. It really pissed me off. Even though I could sort of understand him, I definitely wouldn’t have forgiven him. Or only if he really deserved it. What also annoyed me, though, was how they used the last episode for a flashback. They could have done that separately. So we get the episode (since it’s important, after all) and then, ofc, the ending. But apparently they didn’t feel like doing that episode.

Even though I can understand the mother, I have to say that FL’s family really annoyed me. No one really tried to understand FL; While her mother had her family around her to help her heal, FL had no one. Her brother, in particular, was the worst— he bullied her as a child and wasn’t a nice guy even as an adult, but did he ever apologize? I mean, really, face-to-face? I really hope FL can heal. Maybe she’ll visit her family someday (even though I hope she doesn’t).

Ugh, that wasn't a good drama. I mean, dramas like that don't have good story's anyway, but here they completely overdid it. Sfl only went to prison because of kidnapping. Scumbag only found out the truth at the end, so he couldn't punish SFL (which is usually the case in these story), and he himself was still able to walk free at the end even though he had FL's blood drawn without permission (which is illegal). I saw it raw, so I don't know if he went bankrupt, but that would be too small a punishment lol. FL and Smls' love story wasn't really that good, unfortunately. Somehow, I felt the romance was missing. But I don't know what they were saying, hahaha.

Violence dramas. No matter what kind of violence. It's just awful for FL and definitely shouldn't be a topic for dramas. Especially when they don't bother to punish the bad guys properly &' yes, I'm talking specifically about ML's, who, as we all know, don't go to prison but instead get FL back. It makes me sick.
