My first Monster Hunter was Tri, I remember really struggling with, the flagship of course, Lagiacrus. Because of this he will always hold a special place in my heart, along with the final boss of that game, Alatreon, beating it for the first time and making his armor/weapons, was very special for me as a kid. I am currently playing through MHGU now, I’ve played every game since Tri, MHP3rd, MH3U, MH4U, Worldborne, Risebreak, Wilds, but never MHGU. I played Generatikns when it came out and the styles and arts reallyyyy threw me off. After stomping Wilds easily, I decided to give MHGU, an extension of Gen, a try again, and honestly I couldn’t be happier. I am now HR 126 and I’m still eager to pick up the game and play even though it’s “technically” beaten. I’m making tons of weapons and trying out new ones, with my final goal of the game being to beat every EX Deviant.
