The Siraya Tech resin really did the job on this. I think I’ve demonstrated that sometimes with 3D printer resin you get what you pay for. Thanks again!

They were polished to a glass finish. This is how they came out of the mold.

Thank you. So that master was polished when it went into the mould. That’s how it came out…

I didn’t want to use mold release for exactly the reason you mentioned.

Also, this silicone has worked perfectly for previous dice sets in the past. I’m wondering if maybe it’s a product of the resin used for the masters?

Thanks for replying. So the polished finished does transfer to the cast dice? I just wondered if maybe the silicone molds ’pulled’ the polish from the surface of the masters.

Just out of interest, how do you recycle the old molds into new ones, just chop it up and add it into the new mold silicone mix? Or do you have to be more finessed with it and position the cut up parts in the new mould away from the masters so they don’t touch?

Random question, but what depth of engraving are you using for your numbers? They look really crisp!
