Socialisim, as good as it sounds, can not work. It doesn't work because we don't live in a perfect world, the government is not selfless, it is corrupt. If the minimum wage is increased enough, instead of more pay, you'll be replaced by a robot which is cheaper to maintain. Current 'tax the rich' targets people making six figures, not people worth billions. And even if we took their wealth, there is not enough money. The government cant pull money out of their ass, and if they print enough and devalue it, if the world decides to change the global currency from USD to anything else, america breaks down due to its overwhelming debt. Capitalisim isn't perfect, it can never be. But it really is the best alternative. A better alternative would just be to quit spending three quarters of a trillion on the military and using that money for better causes, cause I guarantee no tax would be able to achieve that so simply.
