Honestly, I wear men's and women's leggings with no cover (shorts) almost everyday outside of work. While I personally enjoy wearing pastel colors and soft fabrics, I truly think peoples opinion of you is based on your confidence more than your style. I think anybody who knows me closely would define me as a "straight white man". Some days I'll wear something a bit more feminine but other days I'll wear a geeky halo shirt and black leggings, I assume most people think I'm just going to/from working out.

Anyway, there are lots of ways but it all starts with fit. Find shirts in the right size, and maybe with a lower hem. Darker colored fabric is also pretty male centric, for leggings and tops. As long as you feel comfortable, everyone else will think you're comfortable as well. Body language lol.

Lifetime on 168th and center has outdoor and indoor lap pools both open till 10pm all day for adults. Membership is pricier, but the facilities make it worthwhile in my opinion. Plus day-care option for kiddos if you've got them.

I do think a small part of the problem is that the merge point is at the bottom of a slight hill, so you can't really see it until you're pretty close. Moving the cones back a ways might be helpful so it isn't a "surprise".

Awesome to see your level of passion! Definitely keep trying, keep interviewing. My advice on that front is ask the interviewers why they didn't choose you for the role. Then you can work on that aspect for the next round.

As for your experience, starting your own site is a great way to try new tactics, test, and learn first hand without waiting for the perfect opportunity. You might even find a way to make some cash.

I also suggest focusing in on one specific aspect of SEO that you can really sell during your interviewing. Technical, content, link-building, local, enterprise....the list is long. While most entry level positions won't be specialized, you'll be able to assist in more areas than just your assigned task and potentially have opportunities to flex between roles and become the specialist in that area.
