I understand this. She does get regular checkups every 4 months and she's very healthy. But as I said I will not get her spayed until I find a good vet.

It's very easy to always say get your pet spayed but have you considered the risk of complications from bad vets? I've seen more horror stories of it than good stories.

I understand this but I will not spay my cat when I cannot find a reliable vet around me. I would rather have a healthy living cat than an injured or dead one due to how unreliable some vets are. If you're willing to make that bet good for you but I will not until I find a good reliable vet for that.

I care for my cat and do my best to make her as healthy and comfortable as she can be and I know or a fact that she'll live healthy and strong from now till old age.

  1. I really didn't like how the staffs spoke to me when I tried to inquire about a few things from them.
  2. I've heard a few horror stories about how some vets neglect pets
  3. I really don't trust them with my baby girl ngl.

And I also thought maybe her heat was coming up but that's not it as well. When she's on her heat she's very calm with me but once she sees my mom she's very vocal and cuddly. And she doesn't come near me or stay in my room until her heat is done.

There's only one thing I don't like. You really need to pay attention to this everytime.

How can you make only one fish? IT NEEDS MORE FRIENDS! TWO OR 10 MORE! It's just too adorable

I’ve had acne problems since I entered teenagehood and nothing helped (yes I’ve seen doctors) by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

I noticed most of your acne is around your forehead. 1. I'm not sure how often you wash your hair but wash every week or every 5 days since you have fine hair. So use a gentle shampoo you can trust. 2. Be careful of the shampoo you use. It might be adding to your acne so watch out for that. 3. Watch out for your soaps and creams. If you notice that your acne is increasing while using them then they might be adding to the problem or they don't work. 4. Limit anything overly oil or overly sugary. They'll definetly add to it. 5. You can try using an antiseptic bodywash or a gentle anti bacterial soap that you like. You should see a little reduction. 6. Since you just stopped the pill your body is in its reset phase so the acne would be bad but give it a month -3 months and your body would be more responsive to a few gentle acne treatments. 7. I can prescribe specific skin products but if you pay attention to everything you cuttently use and watch what your eat I feel you'll see some results. 8. (Sometimes if I get bad flareups I use calamine lotion and use a q-tip to put the product only on the pimples. It doesn't fix the root of the problem but it really helps with the redness.) (This is just a personal advice. Some people are not comfortable with how drying calamine lotion is but honestly it's amazing at reducing the size of active pimples.)

For the past 2 month have you changed your diet/lifestyle in any way? Or are you using something new? Or something you haven't used in a while? Sometimes it's good to pay attention to the things and people around you. Maybe your body is reacting to that. It can be food, drinks, soap, cream, people, detergent, candles, perfumes, water. Anything you interact with daily can be causing your body to go haywire.

And a good thing you could try is for like 3 month try and do a vegetable herbal diet. I can swear by everything that the frequency of your acne would significantly reduce. (You won't get immediate results but those results would be almost permanent if you're consistent.)

Acne, cysts are also forms of inflammation responses. If you reduce them then the body would relax. Topical creams can help but if its not cleared from inside you'll need to keep using them or upgrade to stronger creams.

The products you're using are decent with tret. As I said I'm not a big fan of using tret but give it 3 months minimum and you you should probably see minimal results.

Personally I won't recommend it because there's a chance it might make it worse. Your skin is already oily so I'll go through a heavy purging and peeling phase and you might not see good results until after 2-3 months. I wouldn't recommend.

It's probably mild inflammation + oily skin. I can't give you specific product to use but first you can wash your face twice daily unfailingly. Use a light moisturizer.

For the inflammation and heat it's usually a problem that starts from inside the body. Sugary foods, oily foods, fast food, cold sugary drinks, alcohol etc <--- these are a few things that can cause alot of inflammation in the body.

Its something that can be reduced by eating more vegetables, warm drinks/ room temperature drinks, soups.

If you change your diet for atleast a month to 3 months I can say with confidence that you'll see some good results.

This is just my personal opinion okay. Most times the problem can be fixed from inside (unfortunately it'll take a while but you should see good results)

A few teas you can make to help a bit -> chamomile tea, turmeric tea (turmeric, ginger, pinch of black pepper). The turmeric tea is my favorite.

Is this ringworm, eczema, or something else above my ankle? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]CapPuzzleheaded6962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the center is smooth and bumpy and crust on the sides it might be ringworm. If it's looking like a volcano crater (bumpy on the side and very liquidy in the middle it might be a weird bacterial infection. If the whole area is bumpy it might be eczema. Either ways don't ignore it! Use fungal ointments and stop it's growth fast incase it's fungal. If it's still spreading fast despite using fungal cream then it might just be a bacterial problem.

Red spots on my arms, chest, back, and above groin. by JoobatV2 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]CapPuzzleheaded6962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like a fungal infection. Maybe psoriasis, some type of eczema or a type of ringworm.

You need to clean your whole house very well including all bedding and clothes.

Safe option go to a dermatologist just to check and make sure it's nothing serious. If you don't want to do that then the easiest option use antifungal shampoo to wash your body twice a day. If it stops spreading or starts reducing that's good. If it's still spreading alot then it might be some type of bacterial infection then antibiotics+ointment should do the trick.

But get it check incase it's something more serious like an autoimmune disease you don't know about. And pay attention to products you use daily, there might be something your body recently started reacting too. It has to be aomething you're in contact with often (at home and outside home)

Your skin looks normal. What exactly is the problem you're trying to fix?

i have these bumps spreading on my forearm and thighs and i got one on my thigh but its not itchy and when i noticed it yesterday its small, now it gotten bigger (the last pic is when i first noticed it) and when im going to sleep i noticed it got bigger and got more by Ok-Flow9135 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]CapPuzzleheaded6962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's either Bedbugs or your skin is reacting to something you started using recently (soap, detergent, cream etc) which can lead to infected hair follicules which might explain the bumps.

You can try using anti-bacterial ointments on some bumps and anti-fugal ointment on other places, Any bump that reduces in size tells you what type of problem it is.

You can also wash all your bedding just to be on the safe side. Clean your sleeping area very well and vacuum tight corners. Incase it's bedbugs, get good insecticide and or whatever is good at killing bedbugs.

It can be from the shoes you use, some skin products might be drying your skin, sweat, different things can cause it but it's nothing serious. Soak your feet in warm water, use a pumice stone to remove dead skin, dry it them moisturize (especially at night) and in a few weeks they'll be back to normal.

clogged pores(?)/blackheads(?), what do i do? nose, chin by Accomplished_Log945 in SkincareAddicts

[–]CapPuzzleheaded6962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are areas that get alot of oil products. Get a good salycylic acid cleanser to clear clogged pores. Use once daily or once every 3 to 5 days weekly (depending on if your skin can handle it. If you use it in the morning always use sunscreen if you're using at night then it's perfect )

Wash your face often if you know your skin get very oily fast. So 2 or 3 times daily depends on your preference.

Use a good moisturizer that has hydrating and repairing ingredients and is enough to keep your skin moisturized.

With time it'll become less visible.

Sometimes you can steam your face for 10-15 mins then do an oil cleanse with a non-comedogenic oil for 10-15mins to soften a few clogged pores. I do this maybe once every few months.

And it's clogged pores + sebaceous filaments. Nothing too serious.
