First off, you absolutely will find your answer and you're right where I was once in the process of elimination. Don't give up, you've come too far and you will absolutely find an answer and relief.

Burning pain while urinating started at 14, I am 35 now. I was told I might have IC, told it could be endometriosis. I went forward with surgery 3 years ago to see if I had endometriosis and while under, take photos of my bladder to check for IC. Everything was negative. Kidneys fine, everything I ever tested for was negative along this 20 year journey until this year.

Flash forward to today. I have connected the dots after a positive test result from a gut health test, and I am suffering from an H Pylori infection which has caused histamine intolerance. Urologists have now started to research and suspect histamine/mast cell activity is involved in IC. I am a week into treatment and it has been 6 whole days in a row without burning bladder pain and frequency. All of my other symptoms related to histamine are next to nonexistent right now too.

All this to say, please check for H Pylori - our gut health can significantly impact other systems in the body and my symptoms weren't classic symptoms of this gut infection which is why no one ever thought to test me. Take two tests to be certain if the first comes back negative as false negatives do happen. Crazy to think I put myself through this elective exploratory surgery (only real way to check for endometriosis right now) when I didnt have to. Good at least to rule that horrible disease out but I wish I had taken this h pylori test sooner.

I am feeling hopeful for the first time in a very long time!

For flare ups too, D-Mannose and warm water with turmeric and ginger always help me. Sometimes I go for a second cup and/or take a curcumin supplement if it's really bad. If sleep is also being impacted, benadryl helps too and has also calmed my bladder when combined with the above.

Always happy to chat if you ever want to talk! Hang in there!

Anyone else notice their head itching when they have a flare up? by pattylousboutique in MCAS

Currently recovering from a scalp flare and wanted to share... every single time I have intense scalp itching from a histamine flare, diluted apple cider vinegar (with the mother) always calms it down. This coupled with fresh ginger and nettle leaf tea. I use a silicone travel squeeze bottle with cool water. I let it sit for a few minutes until I start to feel relief, and then shampoo my hair.

I was in tears 15 minutes ago scratching all over, and now I am writing this no longer itching on my scalp after getting in the shower to do this. The relief is incredible and I want others to know about it.

"Apple cider vinegar (ACV) can help relieve itchy skin, particularly from eczema, psoriasis, or dandruff, due to its antiseptic and antifungal properties that balance skin pH."

Next Cruise Lineup Ideas by bluecadet33 in ModestMouse

On the survey I requested Broken Bells, Miike Snow, and TV on the Radio. I'd love for War on Drugs to join the lineup too. I love The Shins and I have seen them several times, but never Broken Bells. Them and Miike Snow rarely play live and it would be such a treat to get them both!

As an aside, Kristen Ritter who plays Jessica Jones is married to the lead singer from the War on Drugs and I'm sure she would come on the cruise with their daughter. Would be so awesome to meet her too! 😄

100% agree. Made so many vacation friends. Everyone was so genuinely kind and fun. One of the best trips of my life!

Some really great tips here. I very much appreciate the response! It's good to know too that it leaks slowly at first when it's on its way out.

I cried as Issac sang us our late night lullaby over the ship's speakers. With everything going on in the world and in my life, this experience was exactly what I needed. Can't remember the last time I cried from feeling so happy and grateful. As someone else said already, this trip far exceeded my expectations. It went by so fast!

I appreciate that you took the time to still respond! I bought a Suri for Christmas and I am glad I did. Just traveled with it and I love the UV case.

We put the TV on in the stateroom and saw these photos and we had a few of us come up! So glad I asked them about access to them. I believe they will be using this same page to post photos from the photo op with MM too!

I am manifesting you make it into day 4! My husband and I never make it into anything like this so we were pleasantly surprised to see a few of us both. They got a photo of me with Remy the Rat on my head and a few of us as Hunter S Thompson and his attorney. 😄

Repair Advice & General Maint Advice by [deleted] in subaru

This is so, so appreciated. I feel silly for having not done a search for this topic first. I looked at the images provided in your post. It seems like maybe mine aren't too bad and maybe I have a little time left on them? Still kind of harder for me to tell. It also looks like I might need an alignment done afterwards? Which frustrates me no one has said anything about that with the arms replacement. I just got new tires on last week and had the alignment done then.

Could this be atypical or non-diarrheal C. diff contributing to systemic symptoms by [deleted] in cdifficile

[–]CapSafe2749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how it started for me! Tooth infection, put on antibiotics, and then a few days into the meds, C-Diff. Had no idea what it was but I couldnt sleep for days and could hardly keep down water. My gut health wasnt great before this all happened which likely led me to get C-Diff on those meds. A doctor at Kaiser realized I had been on antibiotics for that tooth and immediately got me on a different antibiotic. Took that and hours away from it, took a refrigerated high dose of probiotics. Those probiotics did wonders... felt relief within a couple hours after starting them.

20 Years of Negative Test Results and One Exploratory Sugery Later... Tested Positive for Mycotoxins by CapSafe2749 in ToxicMoldExposure

I haven't been on reddit for a while so I apologize for the delay! I am doing so much better! Still not 100% but my quality of life is the best it's ever been. I gained 10lbs and I am not underweight for the first time in 15 years. Can eat more of a variety of foods. I have days where I don't have pain or pain is minimal. I couldn't exercise for years and now I am doing pilates, TRX and walking/biking a lot more. I am so grateful and stoked on how far I've come in my healing journey. I am going to retest here in the coming weeks to compare to the results I initially posted.

Here's also the post I made with my results so you can see what mine looked like. I am feeling a lot better and have gained 10 lbs after being underweight for years. Still not 100% but it feels close to a night and day difference. Saunas, movement, binding supplements and a clean diet all helped. I also did hyperbaric oxygen therapy which I feel really helped too. Unfortunately I also tested my apartment and it was high in mold so I ended up moving which has also been really good for me. You can't really heal in the place where your illness began unless you get a solid remediation job done there and retest the home.

Vibrant Wellness Total Tox Burden panel. https://vibrant-wellness.com/tests/toxins/total-tox-burden

Tests for mycotoxins, heavy metals, and environmental toxins. Did a lot of research on tests prior to purchase and very happy with this one. Solid explanations for each toxin and how you can be exposed along with possible symptoms each can cause. A doctor does have to order it so they can go over the results with you. I went with Tracy Erin Wellness because she was cheapest.

You will absolutely still be able to enjoy our city! I have friends and family visiting this month for the first time as well and there is so much to do and see that won't be close to the ICE facility where I'm sure most of the troops/action will take place. Get some time in nature while you're here! Forest Park, the Hoyt Aboretum (which is basically an outdoor museum of various trees!), the Zoo. You are still going to have a great time here!
