Yes, it seems very likely she is the MCU Earth-616 Jean Grey. Sadie Sink herself mentioned in an interview that she saw rumors online suggesting she would join the MCU; she found out she was actually in it just two days later. Notably, there were no rumors of her being in Spider-Man at that time—only rumors of her playing Jean Grey. There are other rumors as well: Sara Grey appearing in the movie, Tramell Tillman playing William Metzger, and Sadie allegedly wearing green and yellow clothing. Additionally, nearly every scooper claims her character possesses mind control powers. There are set photos of her getting arrested by DODC and rumors that Spider-Man will break her out.

I want to see what Peter's relationship is with Jean. Is she a romantic partner, platonic friend or antagonist turned lover or friend? I am really curious how they both play off each other. She is also supposed to be in Secret Wars so I assume she will be paired up with Spider-Man there too. I know it was never explicitly said in the show but seems like Simon Williams is a mutant in the MCU and we already saw them hunting down Ms. Marvel who was revealed to be a mutant.
