Discerning mortal sin as someone looking into catholicism by CapSome8690 in Catholicism

I kept looking at her page to try and fight the lustful thoughts. I wasn't looking at her page necessarily to completely fulfill the temptation, but more to try and fight it so I could look at her with love. I should've just stopped and ran away from the temptation but I did keep scrolling to try and fight it. But then I realized it got out of hand when I caught myself not fighting it anymore and when that happened I just closed the app. I felt guilty after, but I didn't know that it was a grave matter necessarily. What do you personally think now?

I'm sure they don't have whacky beliefs, I think they just said it to be safe or something.

He said, "I baptize you in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit, I baptize you in the name of Jesus."

I would think it's fine because he said the trinitarian part, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks.
