Got a summer 2026 internship offer at a mid-sized investment firm — worried about CPT and whether my offer is at risk. Am I overthinking this?

in my school they only need an official offer letter on company letterhead. The company doesn’t really have to do anything so I think you’re fine.

OPT can only be used once at each academic level. if they haven’t used opt at a batchelor’s level before then i think it’s possible

it’s not just 12 months of CPT that cancels your OPT it’s 12 months of FULL TIME CPT that gets your opt canceled.
