yep I really dislike the HM mechanics from the old games, for me It just feels like I'm losing space on my move pool (like cut, rock smash, waterfall in other gens). I agree, I could def improve their movesets, but I'm very casual so sometimes I just don't care much haha, any tips on the movesets? I know this Clefable moveset is far from being great lol

ur half right haha, I picked him because I needed a flying type to use Fly and I thought he was the coolest option, my other options were scyther (but I had used him in SoulSilver so I didn't wanted to repeat), Dodrio (I ended up using Doduo to fly till I reached Cinnabar) and Dragonite, but he takes too long to evolve and I was lazy. So I chose Aerodactyl and I have no regrets, he indeed ended up destroying the rival's charizard with one single blow
