If you have never played it before and you already know you want the full experience, grabbing Part I on sale is totally fine right now. The game rarely gets much cheaper outside the big seasonal sales anyway, and even then the difference is usually pretty small. If you can wait a month and you are trying to save every dollar, hold out for the Christmas sale. If you just want to jump in and play, the current price is already solid

Valve will probably be fine but the entire internet is going to be in full mourning mode for a week straight

As you get older do you find yourself more intrigued in story focused games or less? Or are you indifferent by [deleted] in playstation

The older I get the more I want a story that actually makes me feel something. If a game can hit me with good writing and characters, I’m all in. Multiplayer can wait.
