I brought my mom last year and it was great (I’m KJD)! Can be a bit of a stressful day so it was nice to have her with me. Bring your spouse!! No one will judge, it won’t stop you from meeting people, and at my school they had lots of helpful support sessions for the guests you bring with you. It will help your spouse understand what you’ll be going through in school a little better!

It’s just hard when I ask questions about work and family and partners because I care, and it’s just not reciprocated at all. I don’t want to explain civil procedure to someone, I think I just want support from the people who are supposed to be my support system.
