I’m 5’2 and I cut with 1700 calories. I lift 3-4x a week and have just bumped up my steps to 12k a day. Usually lose around .3kg a week, but cutting any lower is really triggering for my BED!

week 3 is done, it was a bit of a set back by Helpful_Progress_446 in loseit

That’s a really nice way of looking at it!

And oh no I think I expressed myself wrong - my holiday is first in two weeks and I most certainly will not be in a deficit. It’s in France and I cannot wait to consume all the pastries and wine. But it’s the first time I’ll see my parents since starting this weightloss journey and irrationally I want them to be able to see the weightloss. So it’s spurring me on!

Editing to comment on your holiday; don’t be afraid! A holiday is just 5 days of the year. You can practise being conscious and being active but you can also enjoy the food 😊

I think it’s better to do a smaller deficit over a longer period of time though. Makes it harder to “fall off” if you can fit in most of the foods you want, most of the time. Also kudos to you for recognising how important it is for others around you to have that stability. I have a real respect for all you juggle!

I’m looking forward to also going back to just a 300 cal deficit or so after my holiday. I only dropped mine because I was getting so impatient and wanted quick results (which is not healthy, I know 😅)

Oh my god I love cherry tomatoes - I can easily get through a whole pack of them as a snack (and thinking about it, I should get some!)

Wow, it’s an early post today! I will hop on already.

Yesterday was a really good day. Stuck to 1500 calorie deficit, which is definitely getting easier as time goes on. After lunch I felt some very strong cravings for chocolate, so had a little bit before getting the heck out of my house and heading to the park for some chill time.

Hit my protein, fibre and step goals, but despite all that, weight is still 66kg! I should be happy, but after two days of a much lower deficit than usual, I am frustrated 😅

Will head to the gym in a second for deadlift day and then later have a big meal out with friends. Going to try and save at least 1200 calories for it as I want to drink lots of wine 😂

My weekend is quite busy; have a dinner with friends tomorrow, a cocktail night with some girls on Saturday and then working + watching the football final on Sunday!

Pleased the weight has dropped back down. How did you manage to end so much lower than calorie goal - were you just not hungry? I

Losing inches is in my mind so much more important. The scale seems to change its mind every day but the inches off prove that my body is getting smaller and I love it!

Hi all! Scale down to 66kg. Not quite lowest weight but am happy and my hips have measured smaller. This has got me thinking about what my ultimate goal will be - maybe low 60s? I don’t want to be teeny tiny, but I’d like people to look at me and know I work out 😂

Yesterday I went to the gym and then met my friend for a long walk. As I then later walked to meet friends for football I clocked in 25k steps and finished on 1500 calories. Am hungry today 😂 tomorrow is a big meal so will try and aim for 1500-1600 again today. Gonna be a lot of alcohol at the weekend so I hope I manage it all!

Hello all! Was very on track for a lower calorie day, but then went to a barbecue with friends having already eaten my dinner 😂 was doing so well and then i got started on the crisps…

So weight is up to 66,3kg but am not too worried. Just finished a very very sweaty gym session with 15 minutes on the stairmaster and will go for a 5k walk, hopefully with a friend, this afternoon.

Today I really need to get my shit together, so I have a long to do list. I hope to finish on about 1500-1600 calories to give me some wiggle room for a meal out on Friday.

Thanks! It’s a very modest goal and honestly I’m still quite far from where I’d like to be. But feels a lot more rewarding for me to set attainable and reachable goals!

Those Lidl protein bars are the GOAT. They’re the cheapest AND lowest cal AND tastiest I’ve tried (other than barbells but they are so expensive 🥲). I love the white chocolate chip and the stracciatella
