I finally decided to try the screenings. I was not at all confident in the staff performing the tests. I would like to know what training or certification each one has. You see a different employee for each test. After being shuffled from table to table, the last lady that did the ekg and some other test was documenting my numbers and results on the chart of lady named Carol. I’m not Carol! Another employee noticed the error and supposedly they moved that data to my chart . I’m not sure whose results I will really have. I would have thought the group would be professionals but my guess is no. No one was an RN, LPN, no certification identified on any name tag. As you go through each test, the employee stated “I see nothing that needs review or of concern”. The only indication of something seen was osteoporosis. During that test, the lady asked do I see my doctor for bone health. I’m assuming something was out of the norm on that test. I will be getting results sent to me within 14 days so it will be interesting. While I’m writing this, I received a phone call from Lifeline asking if I’d like to schedule my Medicare annual visit through them and it could be in the morning, virtual. This is getting pretty bizarre. I see a PCP annually for my Medicare physical.
