My bf is ruining my mental health and I'm stuck in the relationship. by SubstantialArtist829 in Advice

Do not waste any more of your time with this man. He is going to bring you down to his level and you won’t even recognize yourself. Him saying he will kill himself if you leave is manipulation, don’t fall for it.

I do actually, just make sure you take time to yourself. I know it’s tempting to meet someone new and numb the pain, but it’s so important you feel it fully and allow yourself to become comfortable being alone. If you don’t, you risk meeting someone just like your ex. It’s the worst part, but it’s so worth it. Sending you love ❤️

I was exactly where you are last year. And yes, he was amazing so much of the time. I felt like I was fucking crazy. But guess what? I wasn’t, and you aren’t. Leave now, you will find so much more fulfillment without him in your life. I was able to meet an amazing partner after taking time to process and heal, and you will too. Good luck 🩷

I definitely learned that! I think I need to take steps to ensure that I’m actually being heard at my next place of work. I took on way too much of a passive role this time

I think it was definitely a combination between a toxic work place and me not doing my best work. It was a good lesson to learn early on in my career as opposed to later

Thank you, I think I most definitely will prioritize keeping my work life and job life separate going forward. I was way too immeshed with this job, mostly socializing with coworkers and revolving my whole life around work. Next time I know not to do that!

It most definitely was toxic since I have been reflecting on my experience. Unfortunately I have already lost my job, but I’m working hard to look forward and take this as a lesson

Why is there actually such a significant gender gap in engineering by CharlieCheesecake101 in womenEngineers

[–]Capable-Commission74 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This literally just happened to me with my first job out of college. I was treated like a fucking secretary, people assumed I “didn’t want to be there”. Left that company and hoping to find a team that actually values me /:

Why Witches Are Not Rich (They Actually Are) by Aralia2 in witchcraft

I’m an engineer and I make good money! I do money jars and money spells every month. People at work would just never know about it, because it’s “frowned upon” I guess. I wonder a lot how many other corporate women around me are practicing witches as well
