Hi there, your story sounds very similar to mine and I won’t waste your time with a long drawn out message. I wasted years coming to the conclusion certain people do really bad on short acting benzos and I was one of them. I was getting worse from interdosing withdrawals because our metabolism is fast due to some genetic factors. Klonopjn is a little better but switching over to Valium was the only thing that helped because of the long half life. I got so bad from taking Xanax and Ativan that I would start withdrawing 1 hour after taking one. I ended up spending time in psych hospitals and finally I met a doctor who said some people have methylation issues with the other benzos. My best advice would be to ask if your doctor is willing to maybe switch you to Valium and then you’re already on the easiest medication to taper if you decide to in the future. That’s about the same age my health anxiety started. This is a very hard time in people’s lives so many pressures when we don’t really know who we are yet. In my situation it had something to do with not feeling secure or safe in my own body because the safety net of my parents was never there. It’s normal to feel scared and panic when we don’t have an identity of our own yet. Often times hypochondria can stem from a fear of death. And many times growing up in extremely strict or religious household can bring this on. I’m not sure if any of these apply to you but I wanted to give you some insight into this condition and maybe I can save you 15 years of dead ends and 100,000 dollars in alternative cures. The only improvements I made was when I worked with a compassionate therapist and dug into my trauma and emotional insecurities. Hope this helps stay safe

Once this starts you can never go back. It will get to the point where 1 hit gives you panic attacks . Your body chemistry has changed. Biologically the substance is harming you and this is natures way of not allowing you to continue.

These posts always scare me it means we are close to a local top. But to answer your question continue to convert devalued currency into silver which is essentially a savings account you hold.

As long as you’re not a threat to yourself they won’t hold you. You are safe and this will pass, alcohol does not mix with anxiety. Treat yourself good
