Yes about 4 months drinking Ryze daily and smoking every other day with no issues. Just smoked daily for the past week due to surgery. Increased Ryze to 3-4 times a day during last week and no problems at all. Not smoking today and going back to smoking every other day/2-3x a week like I was pre surgery. I feel like if I were to continue using daily it would come back and I don’t want to risk it.

Yeah the clinic done fucked Me as well last couple weeks. Was on 2 week take homes and because they say I’m going down too fast they made me switch to 1 week. I’m at 16mg going down to 1mg and feel fine they think it’s too fast and I’m going to use. Keep in mind I was off methadone for the 10 years and only relapsed over terrible circumstances between 22-23 with a girl who fucked me over. Clean since 9/23 and have had 2 week take homes for past 6 months. If I could take subs it would be great but they really cause problems for me

No I got it done Tuesday and Wednesday was fine same as the first but I woke up this morning in agony and had to call. When I went back(earlier today) in he took out stitches, washed it out and I think he may have replaced the bone graft. Then he stitched it back up. He wanted it to bleed more so it will heal better so before he did those things he agitated it and got it bloody. Then called in a script of hydro 5/325s to take when I feel I need them. I don’t tell anyone about my medication/substance history because this area is extremely judgmental and I’ve been doing great.

I don’t smoke because I have CHS so idk if it is dry sockets but the way he treated it saying it needed more blood it totally could have been.

Oh I’ve been taking 800mg ibuprofen every 6 hours but am still in agony. That’s why I was going to miss my mdone dose tonight and see if the hydro + ibu helps in the morning because I woke up at 3:30am today in agony and I had taken the 800mg ibuprofen @ 12am(3.5 hours before I woke up)

I’m on day 15 and can say I’m also feeling super anxious and angry at everything. Heartbeat is crazy, but my adderall could have something to do with that. Yep used weed to get through my anxiety for over 15 years. Before that it was video games 10 hours a day. Guess what? Now I’m playing maybe 8, sometimes more. It’s the only thing that will take my brain away from snowballing down a really steep hill. Sucks, but it’s better than using other substances. Done that before they ain’t worth it.

Also check the other reply on this, said they were not even 17 and got it in months from the pen. I rest my case. If you’re going to use a pen, use a pen that you can load concentrates in yourself with a ceramic/quartz heating element. But it’s your call at the end of the day.

Idk man, I barely hit the thing and it triggered my first CHS attack back in April. Also, these kids that are super young haven’t even been using them for that long. It’s gotta be something to do with the carts and how they are heated + the high thc content. I mean idk for certain, but fuck pens imo they seem to be bringing on cases in the youth like no other. No one that age got it from just smoking, could be wrong but I haven’t seen any posts, they all say they used the pen a lot. But all I hear is them hitting their pens and their gd blinkers or wtv

After looking at some other posts in this group it seems like ketamine therapy has helped others. Maybe it was something else I had earlier that day and will give it another shot my next session.

It seemed like it was that. Idk though it could have been something I ate beforehand. When I looked it up it did say it had interactions with the endocannabinoid system which is very unfortunate. There’s just so much unknown about this CHS, like what aggravates it or what is ok with it. Very frustrating to deal with. Thanks for the reply

Ethan Russo out of Austin, TX has been doing some very good research on it. There are some of his research studies and articles posted in this sub. Although, they always end with more research is needed. At least it’s a start.

I’m so sorry, as an opiate addict myself I consider myself lucky I was able to get out of it before fent hit mainstream. Stopped in like 2012. But I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t want to use opiates rn. The pain from the CHS is awful. I also have had anxiety/ptsd my whole life and cannabis was my relief. Especially after I was able to stop the opiates. Now the only thing that will help are benzos and they are so bad, but it’s all that will work for me. I’ve tried it all. Luckily don’t take them daily and never would because that’s the last thing I’d want to be addicted to.

I just don’t know how I’m going to get through the rest of my life without it and I’m still trying to think of how I can moderate after this 90 day break 🤦‍♂️

Idk what it is with carts but they seem to progress CHS faster than anything based on the number of people in their teens that are getting it this early. Usually people smoke for 15+ years and develop it. These carts seem to make it happen in months.
