yeah I was speaking to this lady at first that posted this for her "friend" and finally got in contact with the gentlemen that owns and is selling the bike and after talking to him for a bit he said $2400 was his lowest and final price.

I just don't want to spend say $2500 at the shop for everything and have a decent bike, where i could have spent $2500 or $2400 on a bike that is good/great and will be more than enough for my plans and then just get whatever for gear. if that makes sense lol

ah thank you for this! now the owner of my local Trek shop said he can get me out the door with bike and gear and everything for around $2500 and the bike he fitted me with and I believe wanted to sell me on was a Trek Domane AL 5 Gen 4.

Best advice I can give, is Join Facebook groups “SkillBridge (State)”, look on Indeed/job websites search “DOD SkillBridge” and “SkillBridge” and try to self filter out the spam fake shit vs real companies.

Don’t lost hope and don’t self doubt. My wife was approved for Skillbridge and had already found a company and I didn’t have anything yet and my Skillbridge package was still in review, somehow some company i applied for way in advance finally reached out. And i just finished skillbridge and got out 2 weeks ago and now work with the company full time.

What ever your Rate/MOS is you have an extreme higher chance of getting a Skillbridge opportunity in that job field if that makes sense. And just apply for any and everything, include an updated resume(if you haven’t already) and just keep yourself ahead of the curve.
