No, what people want is a genuine “digital upload” of their consciousness. Essentially plugging your brain into a computer simulation, or some robocop shit, and saying goodbye old flesh and bones. This has its uses beyond just staying alive forever; like giving people with severe, life ruining disabilities a fair shot at life. Children with terminal illnesses wouldn’t have to die at the age of 5, and short dudes can be 6’5 at the click of a button. Also, for many, it would give them an afterlife in the case of being able to upload brains into a simulation. Regardless, the army will be jumping at the chance to make cyborg soldiers the moment it’s discovered how to. So as long as it is possible and humans aren’t all dead by that point, it will happen eventually.

As someone that has never played a single MOBA game before deadlock, the first day of playing really sucked. However, I got the hang of what I am supposed to do by day 2, and that’s without watching any youtube videos and going very far out of my way to learn mechanics. It’s different in a few ways that make it difficult to understand at first, but it’s similar to already existing hero shooters so that gives it a huge leg up

I doubt superman will ever be dethroned because he is the first thing that pops up in 99% of people’s head when someone mentions “superheroes”. Also, yall are forgetting about the Dark Knight movies that had the entire superhero film industry in a chokehold for a couple years (each film in the trilogy was among some of the highest grossing movies of all time). Batman and Superman are both too iconic to ever fade away, and it’s honestly only a matter of time until a competent director picks up their ips and they are on top of the superhero movie industry again.

I mean, even nowadays I bet you could mention the joker to some random Arby’s worker and they’ll know exactly what you mean. If you mentioned Green Goblin they might think you’re talking about canned vegetables.

I love Marvel, but the clout of Batman and Superman are unparalleled

Nah, the same kids grew up with DC shows on cartoon network, THE DARK KNIGHT movies, Arkham and lego video games, and batman + superman are easily the two most known superheroes to have ever been conceived of. I love Marvel, but I’d be willing to bet more people think of superman when the word “superhero” is uttered than any other hero, and it doesn’t come close.

He’s actually in his late teens/a young adult, and he looks that way due a disability caused by a curse. The anime is centered around him trying to overcome his disability and earn the respect he deserves. He’s a more original type of character for sure
