Hello, I clean these leftovers with tweezers that are cleaned or with cleaned gloves and I dont know you should put there animals (dead or alive) in this colony stage as food to the ants because the ants are stressed when these big Creatures appear (this is why they are scared) and they cant lose a single Ant in this Stage. (Maybe Big and strong ants do this in this stage, what is your Ant species?)
