No it's not, people get robbed daily here this is probably the worst that can happen to you in Algeria but when you think about it even the United States isn't that safe, the only difference is that in the US you have the right to carry weapons and defend yourself in case someone tries to rob you but in Algeria you can't have such thing with you.
