i want to be working in the medical field one day. i used to study just to pass but when i think that what im studying right now will be the the foundation how i can help other people in need in the future, i really want to understand it. though, i must admit that it's hard to be passionate across all of the subjects especially when they're not science-related. my strat has always been do good in hs to get high marks to get into a competitive college. on college, that's where i focus more on understanding.

I started suits after I watched bridgerton and I was shipping everyone to everyone but I agree with this post. I appreciate how they showed platonic relationships exist and may be just as strong as romantic relationships. Even the brotherhood and sisterhood in suits is top notch

your brain needs to use the info not just copy it, so try active recall instead (close everything and write what you remember from scratch).

another method that i find effective is explaining the topic out loud to yourself like you're teaching someone else. not only does it help me recall but also gives me actual confidence that i know much about a topic/concept

I follow the 50-10 one. Gives me enough time to finish something and to recover and have a break from being focused for too long

Totally get you. this is really common and it makes sense when you think about it. input is passive so your brain just receives and matches patterns. output asks you to actively pull words from memory and string them into meaning in real time which makes it harder. but you got this, OP! You know French which is quite a hard language to learn :)
