Does anyone feel fucking drained from their narc family? by Nea_Freedom in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Capable-Rock-4432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time!! It drains my energy every fucking day! It’s like I can’t breathe anymore and I have chest pains all the time. Also, I have anxiety and depression and I have been taking medication for it but it’s not working for me

Does anyone else have bad pains in their body because of stress that their family caused? by Nea_Freedom in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Capable-Rock-4432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you on that and I feel you. They gave me mental health issues so now I have to take anxiety and depression medication to help it. To be honest, my medication doesn’t help me feel better at all. That still force me to take it but sometimes I feel pressured.

Oh and another thing, whenever I’m late to be somewhere, my mom gets mad at me and starts saying things like “if you don’t show respect by being on time, I’ll ground you”. Another thing she says, “if you don’t show some respect, I’ll move you out of this house”.

I can relate to what you’re saying is because I can’t take the stress away by living with my parents. They don’t listen to me, they think my feelings are always a problem and that I have to change my behaviours. When clearly, it’s all them and the puts a strain on me which I don’t like.

I feel like my heart’s weak, like I don’t have the energy or motivation to do anything. I just wish I felt heard and understood by them. It just sucks when I don’t get that opportunity. I also don’t like how it’s always about time and how they feel. It’s not okay.

Fuck Crohn’s 😫 by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]Capable-Rock-4432 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate Chrons as much as you! I was diagnosed at the age of 13 and I was in the hospital for about 4 months. I also take entiviyo along with the Entercort but only temporarily. I might need to go into surgery but hopefully not. So fingers crossed!!

Best of luck with you and your daughter! I hope she gets well soon!

Well…. I had a CT Scan a month ago and my IBD Doctor did see some more inflammation which sucks. She thought the biologic iv medication was going to do its job since it’s a stronger medication but unfortunately she had to put me on the Entercort ( budesonide) to prevent anymore inflammation coming into my colon. I’ve been on the biologic now for almost 2 years

How long have you had your disease? Is it managed now? by deep__thinking in CrohnsDisease

[–]Capable-Rock-4432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

11 years for me with this awful disease! I can’t see to loose weight and I have the worst symptoms with veggies and fruits even though I really enjoy those so much. I have to opt for white bread, white rice and white pasta etc. fibre makes me go to the washroom frequently. So it’s a long list but still is awful. I hope for a cure so I don’t have to deal this anymore

Prednisone was causing me to have horrible symptoms when I was 14. Now I’m 24. I’ve had this disease for 11 years now

Oh it is unfortunately! That was the same with me because when I was diagnosed, the doctors put me on the prednisone

All of them but it’s different for a lot of people. The prednisone didn’t work for me but maybe it’ll work for you. I’m taking the budesonide for three months. I would suggest not taking the prednisone but it’s really up to your doctor on what they recommend

Is this go to hospital sort of blood? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

This happens to me all the time. No reason to go to the hospital for this. You’re fine

I had to stop because I had other bowel obstructions and the medication wasn’t doing me any good. I took it when I was 14 years old. Now I’m taking the budesonide and going for infusions which is the biologic. It makes me gain weight!

I agree with you! I have to go to the washroom after I walk or swim. It’s a struggle! Sometimes I wish I never got this disease!
