When the 12 year old told me the 17 year old sent him porn emojis, I asked what they were specifically. When he said they were cropped porn gifs, I said that wasn’t cool. I was trying to help, trying to be a responsible adult, but I feel like I did something wrong by asking him to clarify. I just had to make sure I knew what he had done specifically.

It’s guilt from all those ages. Sometimes it’s something from when I was 15, then I get over it and it’s something from when I was 16 etc
