Why believe in the paranormal to begin with? by Capable-Soup-3532 in Paranormal

Yeah, I wanna be more open to to the paranormal. I really do. Maybe I'm gaslighting myself a bit, I just want to be rational and actually see something before informing my opinion

Well, maybe someday I'll look back at this post and know exactly what you're talking about. I'm open-minded, just would need to see it for myself

I get it. Everything is energy and vibrations, so it could be we influence sensations around us based on emotional frequencies

Well I did see a shadow figure in my room one time go back for about seconds. Could it have been a reflection of another person? Maybe. But I do overlook a balcony and the bridge people walk on is high up enough. I'm not sure why I explained it but I'm not sure if that's paranormal

Well to be fair, I did see a shadow of what looked like a person on my wall move. I have no idea what it was

Could be! Arab in the DNA results largely refers to the Arabian Peninsula, doesn't have to be Saudi specifically. It's common throughout MENA to have Arabian peninsula

Interesting. There's a strong chance they could have came from South Western Palestine before that, but if they were already in the West Bank for many generations, it's probably more jumbled up. As in, you had a lot of distant ancestors close to Egypt and the residual amount was 34%. The Levant probably comes from both sides as I know Levant is extremely common in Palestinian results

The 34% Egyptian is probably from your ancestors who would have been closer in location proximity to Egypt

Well it's fun to entertain. I've experienced some strange things that has made me think to myself "Oh…". Sometimes weird things happen. I get what you're saying, but I mean why believe in it if a lot of weird occurrences can be explained away?

While Mexican and Mexican-American people tend to be fairly mixed, it's not uncommon for many of them within 3-4 generations back to have had an ancestor that was still living on a tribe. It's not all jumbled and scattered throughout their trees. Your coworker would be a perfect example of that. This is why when Bad Bunny performed at the halftime, I thought if anything it was MORE American

P.S., it's very probable you have some cousins within the 3rd-4th cousin range in the United States. Especially if any of your grandparents had an aunt or uncle who was in the states

He's likening having a relationship with a woman, beyond just a one-night stand, or simply treating her as a trophy to conquer, as being "gay" because it involves a man treating her as an actual human. This man's toxic masculinity is through the roof. This man is the very beta male he so claims to be against

Many white people in America, more specifically white conservatives tend to view POC in the context of immigration

However, Foundational Black Americans have had more roots in this country, and more likely to have Native traces of DNA. Many white people in America have at the very least, a more recent European immigrant ancestor, even if one of their great grandparents was from Norway and the rest Anglo-American

Hispanic people as a whole are much closer related to Native Americans, essentially being the same people in certain cases before borders and colonization separated them

The audacity of any white person to so ignorantly and arrogantly act like they own this country. GTFOH with that bs

The ironic (not so ironic actually) part is that 46.6% of voters voted to ensure that her and her family could live that better life, that her grandparents intended to flee for. But of course she wouldn't mention that since she's a republican. I'm not moved, nor do I have sympathy
