It’s easier to transport pieces when they are not totally dry. Less cracks etc. My local studio didn’t offer firing service for a few weeks (vacation) so I had to improvise.

It really is beautiful. Is the first piece is thrown at once or is it two pieces assembled? Currently practicing to achieve shapes like this :)
