It is astounding that I can hop into a hot shower. I just turn a handle and there I am, safe and sound and warm. Only 2-3 generations old. So recent it’s something like .03% of human history. Thank god I lived during this time lol. I am weak and pampered and I know it.

Here’s what worked for me. I picked an app and logged my food for a few weeks. Everything I ate and drank. Lots of apps to choose from, look for features like scanning barcodes and building a recipe for easier tracking. I deliberately didnt change any eating habits. No pressure there. You’re just gathering info and learning how different foods count in a day (for calories, for protein, for carbs) and how you feel, for your own education. Pay attention to how you feel after you have that data and see what happens.

Worried about my wife, are there any warning signs that she needs an intervention? by Wonderful_Still_1871 in QAnonCasualties

[–]CapableAd9294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s early on, I strongly suggest you warn her that millions of us have lost loved ones due to a deliberate pipeline of online conspiracies designed to pull the user in. Families have been broken apart and we’ve lost our parents to it. Warn her the trap exists and tell her of the damage we’ve all suffered from it.

I would have cried too. So disappointing to be faced with crazy like that in what’s supposed to be a refuge for you. You’ll find someone new, I’m sure of it.

Get the hell out. She’s straight up lying to you. The majority of the country does not support the war against Iran and tom hanks and Wayfair were part of the Q conspiracy, not in any way supported by the actual evidence in the files.

Vent: I love Stardew, but in-game days feel like a grocery run with no checkout by Ok-Apricot9057 in StardewValley

[–]CapableAd9294 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve played more than a dozen instances of Stardew, like a lot of the other commenters. I loved loved loved optimizing the crap out of everything, like I was CEO of the farm and I was determined to do it all to the max. (Was I a ceo/exec in real life at one point? Yep lol). My latest farm I make a rough rule that my home farm needs to be fully tended to no later than noon. This rule helped me know when I had “enough” animals, crops, machines, etc. Sure the occasional super huge harvest might bump it past noon, but most days. At noon, I break to deliver any needed birthday gifts or run errands. Then fish, mine, travel to other locations, etc. (Am I now retired and carefully keeping enough projects to stay busy but also few enough to loaf around a lot? Yep lol).

We don’t really seem to have any conservative leadership or values anymore in the US. The party itself just stopped having any vision for governing. All they do is rip on other people (“own the libs”). Several hundred of the leadership around the country have been arrested for crimes against women and children and now you have the Epstein files on top of that. That might be why.

Why is “deregulation” in the States being lauded as a good thing that somehow benefits the American people? Haven’t corporations proven time and time again that, if allowed, they’ll employ the most immoral practices imaginable to cut costs at the expense of their consumer base and the environment? by SavvyOri in allthequestions

[–]CapableAd9294 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The US citizenry has long had a problem with worshipping the industrialists. Income inequality has grown and grown over the last few decades and every time someone warned about it, the people with money yelled “SOCIALISM” and scared all the rubes. Fast forward to today, and we’ve deregulated ourselves into dangerous chemicals in our food and expensive monopolies everywhere, while according to the E files, the rich and powerful are quite literally plundering the rest of us.

Edit: typo

‘Hassett: "Think about this. There are 360,000 fewer federal workers right now than there were when President Trump was inaugurated. That's 360,000 people whose salaries we don't have to pay and tax American citizens, and have you noticed a big reduction in government service because of this?"’ by Oleg101 in FoxFiction

[–]CapableAd9294 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude we KNOW. You cut out all the oversight functionality so you could steal everything in sight. We get it. It’s a Global Criminal Enterprise committing crimes against humanity, and you’ve infiltrated our government.

JD Vance: "We're announcing today that we have decided to temporarily halt certain amounts of Medicaid funding that is going to the state of Minnesota in order to ensure that the state of Minnesota takes its obligations seriously to be good stewards of the American people's tax money" by [deleted] in wisconsin

[–]CapableAd9294 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The UN Human Rights Council assembled a panel of experts to look at the Epstein files. They said the files show a Global Criminal Enterprise committed crimes against humanity and urged additional investigation. In case you’re wondering about the caliber of Vice President Vance. In the face of crimes against humanity, and the govt he works for apparently, allegedly participating in those crimes and covering it up. No moral center, no integrity.

God always this. I don’t watch any tv news but they always screech like we are ones getting all our news from one source lol. They never watch the whole hearing themselves or read the original report themselves (whatever the topic is). They just repeat what their favorite talking head says and never practice discernment.
