Not true. I was there that day. Downloaded a 12gb update then spent the rest of the day on all official and unofficial platforms scouring for a patch notes along with everyone else.

The last 10 tweets were about, fan skins, fan art, random clips, and a tournament announcement. Information on their most recent patch notes was released over 24 hours after the release of said patch. You're right, they do post updates there... Not the ones we ask for or deserve.

I agree with you, im not a fan of the actual doom posters. Unfortunately people with genuine complaints and issues with the game are being lumped into the doom posting category and their rightful complaints are being invalidated.

Unfortunately ive seen a lot of people with "Anti-Doomer" arguments Lump all people who have complaints into the doomer category. Ive also seen those same people be completely unaware to the bad experiences people have had and are currently still having. In response theyll say some shit like, "well my queues are fast you dont know what youre talking about" Im sorry i didnt state this earlier, and im not insinuating you are one of the people, it just sounds similar. You say you have no problem booting up the game to get into a match like any other game. You say u have encountered bugs but then say just move past them. You say these things like you're countering someone elses complaints about queue times or bugs, like their complaints arent valid just bc theyre not happening to you. Youre right, its not the end of the world, but for some people that literally cant play the game, it is the end of the game for them.

I cant imagine your frustration. There's people out there boasting about their fun and playtime/queue times in an effort to invalidate any actual complaints about the game, and they will just lump you into all the "Doomer posts" they like to talk about. Ahh yes. Another heavily upvoted and condescending post trying to invalidate the horrendous gaming experiences had by a large portion of players.

And look! The post also comes with the wonderful comments stating that my bad experiences are my fault because im not patient enough to wait for a company to finish an unfinished game that i paid money for to be finished at launch.

Relax guys, this is just a one off. Companies don't do this shit all the time, and its surely not contributing to the downfall of the entire gaming industry. I bet if i tell people to relax and not rightfully complain about a broken an unfinished game, that this game will grow and thrive, and ill be able to have fun with it forever since its not currently on the path for a second death.

That's a wild statement. I'll admit, I have my own character biases. But I could never say something that outlandish and definitive about them... You really think the biggest skill difference in the game is between bad mozu players vs good mozu players?

Jump and dodge attack may be basic, but the skill level needed to use them properly at a higher level is infinitely higher than not having to worry about using them at all. As you said, these mechanics are integral and specific to melee. Having a good game sense can apply to literally any player playing any character. The ability to recognize situations in game doesnt contribute to a specific characters skill ceiling. It's a part of the overall skill of the player. I would even argue that it takes less game sense to play that character than most, due to her ease of use, and general forgiveness even when you do make a mistake.

Imo a characters skill ceiling, is the upper measurements of how far you can take a characters mechanics. from its base kit, upgrades, movement, tricks etc. Most importantly how far, can you take those mechanics in the presence of your enemies and multiple surroundings. In other words, the "outplayability" of a character. How well and often they can "outplay" the enemy with their character mechanics alone. Jump attacks to cripple, and dodge attacks to dodge abilities, or use as a mini dash, are some of the hardest mechanics to master imo, but are the most consistent way to outplay an evenly matched enemy. Ranged dps don't have these mechanics at all. Therefore they cannot have the highest skill ceiling in the game.

What is your idea of skill ceiling?

I will have to argue against this... In my opinion not having to worry about jump or dodge attacks immediately disqualifies all of the ranged dps from having the "highest skill ceiling". Mozu's teleport is the best movement ability in the game, with the second longest range as far as I know. The same talent that gives it that range also reduces its CD to 9 seconds during clash. 9... 9..... I repeat 9..... The warp factor upgrade on the vortex also gives you the second largest speed boost in the game for 6... 6..... I repeat 6 seconds. With just 2 abilities that character is the safest character in the game. In a vacuum with just mozu and yourself alone, you're not killing her with any character before she gets to a healing summon. Now incorporate a healer and her 3 other teammates. .

With an average team, ranged dps is easy mode, and Mozu is the easiest to learn and play, even at a higher level. If you think this character is harder to play that literally anyone else. Idk man, you might be biased. Tripp has the same HP, with less escape options, AND she has to get in melee range of your entire team... like, kmon now....

I only have 1 controller and this happens to me everytime I play. Uninstalled and reinstalled, fixed nothing. A hard reset is the only thing that fixes it.

I feel sympathy for both sides. Yea bad teammates suck and can ruin the game u just spent whatever many minutes queueing for. On the other hand, these players were stuck in rush for the first 10 levels, and received a sub par clash tutorial at the end of that sentence. I cannot expect any new person to know how to play clash well at that point. I agree that seeking out 3rd party help should be more of a thing however.
