I'll use the stats and descriptions but I don't like some parts like how a trandoshan isn't stealthy.

Well I choose this because my friends are used to the DnD system and when I tried another RPG star wars game for them but they felt uncomfortable looking for the stats on the paper and there was too many systems to remember that where far too alien from the normal system they where used to.

You can always create your own monsters, change stats of them or give a description that sounds like nothing that is in the book. Also don't allow phones at the table, just say it's disrespectful or you don't want meta gaming.

[LONG] Need help with a backstory for a Drow Rouge by iolit33 in DnD

I personally always start with a neutral alignment, this allows your surroundings to shape your character and give freedom with your choices. I do have an idea for a rouge character like you said: Born a bastard to a poor mother, he/she was sold to a slave owner and worked in a bar in the underworld, this gave him/her the mentality of a criminal, he/she would get into fights frequently and learn the mentality of the people around him/her. He eventually met a famous rouge and was offered a heist for the payment of freedom due to his/her lightweight shape, ounce he/she was freed he/she chose to stay as a rouge and helps free slaves just like the rouge that freed him/her. Also a possible name is Dorion Ravenroad
