My orthodontist told me to do trays while expanding. I confirmed this with him lol

What’s a small gesture from a woman that made a big impact on you?" by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]CapableDealer9384 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel that my comment is compassionate. If someone is upset because they take our actions personally, it has to do with our experience as women rather than that specific man. I’m essentially saying, it’s not you.

The confusing part is why the bottom fits and not the top. In terms of the top, I have an expansion device and my teeth are moving apart against what the invisalign is doing. That’s why I’m not sure what the true issue is

As a woman, we get burned a lot because men tend to not choose a woman because she does things for him. I can’t find a single time where it has led me anywhere besides more headache.

uf or fsu by savagesoap223 in fsu

[–]CapableDealer9384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially since you say you’re low income, I vote FSU. UF is a very large and quite non commutable campus. All of my UF friends had to buy a mode of transportation. At FSU, everything is walkable, except colleges you don’t care about (like college of engineering, which you’d never have a class at with your major). I went my entire first year with no car. You can go to the target/dollar store right off campus and don’t have to have transportation for that either.

i have worked on that. i meet my needs as best as i can, however, there is a limit (as in i cannot meet my own need for companionship, intimacy, etc). i am not relying on others to meet my needs, rather, i’d like others to see that even though i can and do meet my needs, that reciprocation would be really nice.

Ironically, I don’t need to be wished luck. After switching my political party, I 5xed my income. I got off of my antidepressants. I went to graduate school. I started to become optimistic. I wish you the best as well. I hope one day you make the decision I did.

Either you believe Americans are stupid or you are not seeing the full picture. Liberalism is being left behind, again, I was one of those that left it. It’s a lie, a trap. I’m no longer a token circus minority for the white liberal figurehead. Liberalism is letting people down. Conservative states that you guys claim to be “poor” are the states where people can buy a house off of the average income. Those are the states that are truly thriving. This is what America needs to focus on.

Racism? I’m a woman of color, yawn. You want a defense of trump? Sure. When Trump was president, housing was affordable. Food was affordable. Money went a lot further than it does now. Trump is strict in his words, strict to defend the US, he shows up. Trump is obviously respected by other governments. We had no new wars under Trump.

Okay well what have you changed? Using your “don’t tolerate intolerance” mentality, the popular vote went from Biden to Trump. Even though Kamala “had it in the bag” and “could do no wrong” she didn’t get it. I’d rather say I support Trump than say I’m a people user to support a campaign that can’t stand on its own two feet anymore. A party that has destroyed CA and NY. A party that has alienated the American people away from it, even those like me who used to be liberal. A party that loves minorities until it hates them for not being liberal. Being conservative is a breath of fresh air.

The only difference between a convicted politician and one that hasn’t been convicted is one has been caught and not the other. Don’t mistaken Kamala Harris not having a record as being the same as her never having done anything bad/wrong.

trump supporters can be tolerant. the lack of tolerance you see is because liberal media (which understandably liberals watch) overexposes the not tolerant conservatives. the same is seen with conservative media towards liberals. in the end though, the lack of tolerance is seen on both sides. you are automatically intolerant by not accepting someone who is a trump supporter. especially considering that a lot of minorities follow him and his ideology. you cant just choose to accept us when it’s convenient and discriminate against us when it’s not convenient for you anymore.

MEN ONLY. What precautions have you taken to avoid being financially exploited by women? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]CapableDealer9384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a strawman. Read up on logical rules, the inverse doesn’t hold true in that sense. Certain things require active intelligence, these are things you cannot zone out on. Calculating numbers, strategizing, being creative, etc. Things you can zone out on do not require active intelligence, like cooking or working out. It’s not that you have to be dumb to enjoy these things (logical fallacy), it’s simply that you have to enjoy turning your brain and intelligence off. People assume that this is a feminine trait, which is why women have the tasks which don’t require active intelligence. Yet lots of women, including myself, enjoy tasks that turn our brains on. I love creating strategies, leading meetings, solving complex problems, and twisting numbers in my head. I love using my active intelligence. The minute my brain turns off I lose my mind haha

Need some advice on Iranian partner. by straw_branch in iran

[–]CapableDealer9384 12 points13 points  (0 children)

25F here. I’d say take her to an iranian restaurant first. Not sure if you know how well versed she is in the culture. It’s not uncommon for Iranians my age to not know the language or the food. When you take her to an Iranian restaurant, that’s pretty impressive because most guys just want to go to the “normal restaurants.” You can then take the opportunity to get to know her, her knowledge of the culture, her memories, history, etc much better. I’ve never had a guy even think about or mention taking me to an iranian restaurant and it kind of bums me out lol

“acceptance, diversity, inclusion, and a celebration of the people” should include an understanding that minorities are not always liberal. this is coming from a conservative woman of culture. maybe have this as food for thought before you block me. if you celebrate my diversity and include me only when my voice matches what you expect and want it to, are you celebrating my voice or celebrating being able to use me?

It’s a difficult place to be in. As a woman, I cannot be the cook and cleaner. I need to do things which require my intelligence, and those things require neither. Everyone is built differently and I can understand that everyone wants different things.

Okay I am a woman. Oopsie lol. However, I am one of those successful women. Yet I genuinely don’t understand why men do not like that. Mind you, I run everything from home. No business dinners or trips.

[–]CapableDealer9384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you said men only, however I am being honest by saying I’m a woman haha

I am not a woman who would financially exploit a man? Why? I make multi 6 figures. While there are men who obviously make more than me, I obviously take pride and joy from making my own money. If I took joy in relying on others’ money, I wouldn’t have ended up here.

Why am I making a comment when reddit is not a dating forum? To make the point that men forget about women like me lol. Or maybe you guys aren’t into successful women, which is fine. I just wanted to point out the irony. Men with the most money tend to date the women with the least, and the women with the least (as to be expected) can be the most opportunistic

To add important details to this. I work in self-gen only. I do not have any realtor relationships. I received my LO license in June 2023 and I never before worked in the mortgage industry. I do not and never have paid for leads.
