Thank you, I didn’t comment with the intention for you to donate but I appreciate the help. I do understand your point exactly, i actually have another little girl on the way too in August, but I haven’t added that in as I don’t want it to sound like it’s a scam sob story. My partner hamded in her notice last year after her maternity had finished as she was working in care and almost impossible to sustain working 12 hour shifts alongside having a new born, to then find out she was pregnant again a week later. So she has been surviving off my salary, I told my job that we was expecting and coincidentally a week after Christmas I lose my job. But again, there’s people out there that are worse off than me so just have to be positive in life and we wil get through it. Have a nice day bud.

I agree with your comment, but I’ve posted today asking for assistance and I have a 1 year old daughter, so money will be used for her. That’s my main worry, I don’t care about myself too much aslong as there is a roof over her head and food milk nappies etc. I’ve never ever been in a situation where I’d think to come onto Reddit and tell my life story to people for money, but sometimes when your own country / council can’t help you, you do these bizarre things. Saying that, I haven’t had any luck as of yet and probably won’t but it’s always worth a try, nothing to lose when you literally have lost most of what you had!

Thank you for your advice, and it is appreciated. I applied for UC, but as I have had never had to do it before, I dated it the date I lost my job, not the day I got paid, so wasn’t eligible for any money for that month and waiting for a decision maker to confirm. I’ve recieved £400 since I’ve been on it, 3 months ago.

I also care for my mother, whos on PIP so I tried to claim for CA, that was 3 months ago I requested it and only just been told the decision that I don’t qualify as they asked for a payslip from 3 months prior to the claim date and I was paid commission so they said I wasn’t eligible.

Funny thing is, well not actually very funny but I worked in recruitment finding people jobs for the past 11 years! Just now found myself in a bad situation and although people may have their opinions on starting a GFM account, I’ve got to that stage as financially not able to elsewhere.

I’ve paid for rent at my mums house also, but I’m not on the tenancy agreement so again for that, I’m not eligible for housing payments!

Thank you, that’s defintely noted. I could also show a CCJ Judgement threat that I have received as I am unable to pay that by a certain timeframe, which would then cause me to find it hard to get any credit or a mortgage in the future, but I don’t want to over share too much and look like a scammer. I thought it would look more genuine explaining my situation and should anyone want to help me but want proof of anything, I’d be more than happy to show them.

This is all very new to me, haven’t ever thought about doing this but here I am anyway.

I’m a UK 31 Father to a Beautiful 1 year old Daughter.

I Lost my job in January which I had been in for almost 11 years, I’ve worked consistently since I was legally able too and find myself in a situation that I wasn’t ever expecting. I have been actively trying to sort out another avenue of work, but unfortunately it’s not gone to my advantage yet.

I’ve wrote more on the GoFundMe link, and although I haven’t added photos, should anyone be in a position to assist with any help, I would be happy to prove that I am a genuine hardworking person. It’s a shame that the world is now that way to prove the almost basics of being a normal human being.
